What is a closure strap?

Closure belts help you recover faster after giving birth. The belt supports your lower body, allowing your pelvic ligaments and pelvic floor muscles to relax more. This allows them to heal faster after delivery. The closure belt can also help you feel more stable in the first few days after giving birth. It also helps prevent diastasis.

You typically wear the sling from the second day after delivery until a few weeks after your delivery. This is usually between two and six weeks. During the first week, you wear the sling day and night, and from the second week on, you only wear it during the day. After a while, you can gradually wear the sling less and less, until you stop using it after about six weeks.
